From PBA crunch-time buzzer beaters to Premier League weekends and MLBB grand finals — star88's sportsbook brings all the action together with competitive odds, live in-play markets, and fast PHP payouts built for bettors across the Philippines.
The star88 sportsbook is designed around what Filipino bettors actually watch and care about. Basketball is naturally front and center — PBA games are available throughout the season with a full range of markets, from simple game-winner bets to point spreads, totals, and in-game propositions. For those who follow the NBA, the same depth of coverage carries over to international play.
Football coverage on star88 spans the biggest leagues globally — English Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and UEFA Champions League — alongside AFC competitions and the Philippine Football League when in season. Regardless of time zone, there's almost always a live match available to bet on.
Boxing has deep roots in Philippine sports culture, and star88 reflects that. World title bouts featuring Filipino champions receive comprehensive pre-fight and in-fight markets. Volleyball, particularly through the PVL, is another growing category that resonates strongly with Filipino fans who follow both the men's and women's competitions.
Beyond traditional sports, star88 has invested in a proper esports betting section. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) — the most-watched esport in the Philippines — along with Dota 2, Valorant, and CS2, all have dedicated betting markets with real-time odds that update as matches progress.
Sports betting is a form of entertainment, not a guaranteed income. Always set a budget before placing any bet and never wager more than you can afford to lose. The star88 platform is for adults 21 and above only.

Live in-play betting is one of the most exciting features on the star88 platform. Rather than locking in your prediction before a match begins, you can monitor how a game is unfolding and place bets as the odds shift in real time. A basketball team down by 10 at halftime, a football side pressing for a late equalizer, a boxer finding his rhythm mid-fight — these are the moments where in-play betting comes alive.
The star88 in-play interface is built for speed. Odds refresh automatically, and a live match tracker keeps you updated on scores, possession, and key events without needing to switch to another app. On mobile, the layout is optimized so you can place bets with a few taps even in the middle of watching the event.
Odds change instantly as events unfold — no delays, no stale prices. What you see is the current market.
Designed for thumb-friendly navigation. Place live bets on your phone while watching the game from anywhere.
Score, timeline, key stats — all visible inside the star88 bet interface without switching apps.
Winning live bets are settled quickly in Philippine Peso. Funds available in your account shortly after the event ends.
Understanding your options before you place a bet
| Bet Type | How It Works | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Match Winner (1X2) | Pick the outright winner of a match, or select a draw in applicable sports. | Football, Basketball, Boxing |
| Point Spread / Handicap | The favored team starts with a point deficit to level the betting field. You bet whether they cover or fail to cover the spread. | Basketball (PBA/NBA), Football |
| Totals (Over/Under) | Predict whether the combined score or a specific statistic will be over or under a set number. | All major sports |
| Live / In-Play | Place bets while a match is in progress. Odds update continuously based on the current game state. | Basketball, Football, Esports |
| Parlay / Accumulator | Combine two or more selections into a single bet. All selections must win for the parlay to pay out — higher risk, higher reward. | Weekend football cards, multi-sport |
| Outright / Futures | Bet on the winner of an entire competition — a tournament champion, a league title, or a season award — before it concludes. | PBA Governors' Cup, Champions League |
| Special Propositions | Side markets covering specific events within a match, such as first scorer, method of victory in boxing, or total aces in tennis. | Boxing, Football, Tennis |
